Maidservant Si-ping has given birth to two sons conceived by her master Chow Pok-yuen but soon both Si-ping and her younger son are driven away. Elder son Chow Ping has grown up to be a wayward son. He has a dubious relationship with his stepmother and has made maidservant Sei-fung pregnant. Ping and Sei-fung decide to elope. Upon meeting Si-ping again, Pok-yuen finds out that the young lovers are indeed maternal brother and sister. A distressed Ping commits suicide while Sei-fung is electrocuted to death. |
