Synopsis:
Three interrelated tales linked by the theme of death. A morgue assistant witnesses gut-wrenching autopsies and mutilated corpses on a daily basis. But strangest of all is the behaviour of his oddballs colleagues. In another part of town, a professional killer begins to view his job with grave misgivings. This tormented soul begins to act in an increasingly erratic manner much to the consternation of his triad bosses. The third character is a cook who works in a prison. His job is to cook for inmates on death row, and to record their dying wishes. This unholy trio finds out in different ways that the most beautiful moments of life are often those closest to death.

Synopsis:
Innocent is the story of a Hong Kong family who immigrates to Canada and in the process is forced to confront different emotional and cultural problems. The story of the Tang family is told mainly through the eyes of the young hero, Eric, a 17 year-old boy who, during the course of the film, must not only adjust to the new environment, but also come to terms with his homosexuality. Eric encounters a series of potential romantic interests throughout the course of the film, from his handsome hockey-playing cousin Chris to a middle aged lawyer Larry. But it is his unconventional classmate James with whom Eric is most enamored. When his love is rebuffed Eric begins to act in selfdestructive ways. Mrs. Tang, meanwhile, finds her marriage foundering in the new country. Synopsis:
Ming is an attractive young gay man whose mother committed suicide after a big argument concerning his homosexuality. He moves out of his public housing estate flat, and eventually becomes a freelance male prostitute with the help of his roommate, Cyrus, a flamboyant gay man with a passion for drugs and partying. When his boyfriend Yan finds out about Ming¡¦s profession, he decides to leave Ming, but later on, his love for Ming brings him back. Yet Yan, who is ten years Ming¡¦s senior, cannot resist the urge to ¡¥save¡¦ his younger lover. Troubled by Ming¡¦s partying as well as his choice of profession, Yan tries to exert greater and greater control over him, which only leads Ming to withdraw into more partying and drugs. When Ming rebuffs Yan¡¦s suggestion to move in together, and propose that they break up instead, Yan calls the police on Ming. Ming gets sentenced to a Christian drug treatment centre, where he encounters Keung, a recovering heroin addict. Even though Ming finds the centre stifling, he is impressed by Keung¡¦s warmth and generosity, and forms a deep bond with him. When he is released from the centre, Ming moves in with Keung and his girlfriend Jackie, and becomes entangled in a complicated relationship with the two, with unexpected results.

Synopsis:
It has been ten years since the historical handover of Hong Kong from Britain to China. However, Hong Kong¡¦s progress toward democracy is still dissatisfactory today while people in the society tend to play safe and be indifferent to the political environment. 6277 is a good-for-nothing who was kicked out from the police force due to his addiction to gambling and the subsequent debts, Eva is a green and aggressive woman newspaper reporter who is eager for promotion. Mr Ma is a pastor who is reproached for hosting a programme on social commentary on the radio. The three have been unrelated until now a murder in a law firm links them together, and leads them to unmask a scandal about some secret deals between the dominating business tycoons and the governments in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

The Bible says, ¡§Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it (Mathew 7:14). ¡§It is a long and difficult road to truths and justice. Could the three protagonists be conscious and determined enough to persevere in revealing the truth while people around them are either ignorant or indifferent?

Synopsis:
The story covers one day in the life of an unemployed man and his estranged wife. In the morning, the man visits a prostitute whom he frequents, who has now set up her business in a new apartment. Later, upon returning home, he discovers that his sister is about to leave home with her boyfriend. Alone with his young son, he takes the child to see his wife, hoping that she will take them in... One of Hong kong's best -known independent filmmakers, Kwan Park Huen's short films combine a sensitivity for the dramatic in ordinary situations with warm portrayals of characters and relationships. His first 16mm feature, which culls some outstanding performances form the cast, tells the reality and fantasy of an unemployed man driven by strong sexual desires and his relationship with a prostitute which wrecks his family life. Although marred by an overly dramatic ending, Kwan Park-huen handles his rough chunk of life with a strong conviction, searching for redemption in the claustrophobic apartments that constitute his views of the world.
